Engine
This 4.6-liter V8 has starts off with three-valve heads - two intake valves and one exhaust valve. The additional intake valve greatly improves engine breathing on the intake side, where you can enjoy a smooth 330hp (246kw) @ 5200rpm. As an option, an aluminum dual-core radiator and high-flow cooling system is available for the manual transmission.
Exhaust System
The free-flowing exhaust system increases the resonant throaty sound by emphasizing the placement of the centre dual-exhaust with large 2.5" diameter pipes for reduced backpressure.
Brakes
12.4" dual piston vented disc front brakes come standard (11.8" rear), however, you may upgrade to the 15" slotted and vented front discs with Saleen ABS 6-piston calipers for optimal stopping power.
Suspension
This suspension kit includes springs, shocks, anti-roll bars, and pivot bushings are Saleen tuned to increase the handling and overall performance of your Saleen S281 3-valve Mustang.
Aerodynamics
This unique body kit transforms the retro styling of the 2005 Mustang into something that only Saleen can further enhance the retro look with contemporary styling. Louvered side scoops and a composite rear wing seal this look.

Saleen's 4.6L V8 engine is designed and constructed in-house. The 281 cubic-inch V8 uses a special forged steel Saleen crankshaft, connecting rods, Saleen-patented forged aluminum pistons and unique Saleen performance camshafts.
