NOT JUST ANOTHER SUPERCHARGED MUSTANG
Under the hood is a supercharged 5.0L V8 paired with a 3.0L Stage 2 Whipple Supercharger System that produces over 870+ horsepower and 660 lb-ft of torque. An HD Race Intercooler keeps things cool under extreme conditions, while the RTR by BORLA Cat-Back Active Exhaust System — meticulously tuned to perfection by Vaughn Gittin Jr. — delivers a sound that hits just as hard as the power it unleashes. Spec 5 can be optioned with a 6-speed manual or a 10-speed automatic transmission. Either way, you’re in command of a machine that was built to thrill.
A WIDEBODY SYSTEM WITHOUT COMPROMISE
The 2024+ Spec 5 introduces the next evolution of RTR’s Widebody System. These aren’t bolt-on flares; this is a fully integrated system that redefines what a widebody Mustang should be. Each component has been meticulously engineered to flow seamlessly to complement the Mustang’s body lines. All mounting points are hidden beneath the surface, eliminating exterior hardware from being seen. The result is a precise fit and finish so refined that it looks as if it rolled straight off the assembly line this way.
- Composite Widebody System Components: front fenders, bumper extensions, rocker panels, rear quarters with tire cooling vents, wheel arches with ducts, and felt liners.
- Exposed Carbon Fiber Components: chin splitter, wake tower assemblies (front and rear), rocker splitters, and rear quarter splitters.
- Bespoke Fuel Door: engineered with billet arms, a laser-printed nylon bucket, and a vertical over-center motion. It accepts all 50-state nozzles and keeps the OEM push-to-open function intact.
This system isn’t just about looks — it’s about attitude, engineering, and functionality coming together in a way only we can deliver.


INSPIRING CONFIDENCE INSIDE AND OUT
Inside, the Spec 5 is just as bold as its exterior. RTR Leather RECARO Sport Seats feature Cool Grey bolsters, black suede supports, and ribbed inserts inspired by historic vehicles like the Ford GT. The debossed RTR is a subtle reminder that you’re driving one of the baddest RTR Mustangs to date.
A serialized dash plaque engraved with Vaughn Gittin Jr.’s signature, the ergonomic RTR Performance Shift Knob, RTR floor mats, and a certificate of authenticity make every Spec 5 uniquely yours.
Every car also comes with the factory Electronic Drift Brake, co-developed by Vaughn and Ford. It’s not just a feature — it’s a direct connection to RTR’s motorsport DNA, giving you the tools to initiate drifts and manoeuvres with confidence.
WHERE STYLE MEETS PAVEMENT
The brand-new RTR Aero 5 Evo Forged Wheels are a bold evolution of our Aero 5 wheel design. Available in Forged Charcoal, Podium Champagne, and Vapor Silver, these forged aluminum wheels feature lightning pockets, paint-matched machined center caps, and a stance that demands your attention. Michelin Pilot Sport 4S tires—305/30R20 on a 10.5-inch wide wheel in the front and a 315/30R20 on an 11-inch wide wheel in the rear—maximize grip and everyday drivability.
Braking power is provided by Brembo 6-piston front and 4-piston rear calipers, paired with upgraded 2-piece front rotors for increased braking performance.
The RTR Tactical Performance Suspension System features proprietary 30-way adjustable front coilovers and rear dampers, paired with height-adjustable springs and adjustable front and rear sway bars. Each system is purpose-tuned by RTR engineers and test drivers, preset for a balanced blend of street and track performance. The result is a chassis that is confidence-inspiring, responsive, and easy to drive, while still giving owners the flexibility to fine-tune suspension settings to their preferences.
